Slingshot: Trick Shots – Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

1. Who we are

This policy explains what information the Slingshot: Trick Shots mobile game collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

The game is published by Meb Games ("we", "us"). It covers the iOS and Android versions of the app. Our website has its own policy at mebgames.com/privacy-policy.

Questions or requests about your data: [email protected].

2. Information we collect

You can play without creating an account. When you open the game, it signs you in anonymously as a guest so your scores can be saved; an account with email is optional. Guests have a smaller data set, because nothing requires an email address, a profile picture or a purchase. The shop and diamond purchases need an account (section 7).

Some data stays only on your device: your sound setting and chosen mode. Your diamonds, level progress, stars and best scores are saved on our server and linked to your player.

We collect a profile picture only if you upload one. We do not collect your phone number, contacts, precise location, or payment card details.

3. How we use information

We use the information above only to run the game:

  • provide the game, save your scores and restore your progress;
  • run the leaderboard and your player profile, and show your profile picture if you uploaded one;
  • manage your optional account, including sign-in, sign-out and account deletion;
  • provide the diamond shop, your inventory and your diamond balance;
  • verify and deliver purchases, credit diamonds, and reverse them when Apple or Google refunds a purchase;
  • send you game announcements as push notifications, if you enabled them;
  • show ads, and measure and protect them from fraud;
  • fix problems, keep the game secure and improve it;
  • configure the game remotely, for example the server address or an update reminder.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

For players in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the legal bases are:

  • performance of a contract: running the game, your account, the leaderboard and purchases;
  • legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, diagnostics and improving the game;
  • consent: personalized advertising and the use of your advertising identifier, which you can withdraw at any time (section 6);
  • legal obligation: keeping purchase records where the law requires it.

4. What other players can see

The leaderboard shows your player name, your best score and your rank to other players with an account. Your profile picture and player name may be shown to other players on the leaderboard and your profile. Your email address is never shown to other players.

Player names must be unique. Do not use your real name or anything personal as your player name. You can change it at any time in Profile.

5. Services we use

These companies process data for us to run the game. Each handles it under its own privacy policy.

We do not give your information to anyone else, except when the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

6. Ads, consent and tracking

The game is free and shows two kinds of ads through Google AdMob:

  • app open ads, shown when you open the game;
  • rewarded ads, shown only when you choose to watch one for an in-game reward.

Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). Before ads are loaded, Google's consent form asks whether ads may be personalized. You can change your choice at any time in the game's settings menu, under Privacy options.

Tracking on iOS. The game uses your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow it in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking. If you do not allow it, ads are still shown but are less personalized.

Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your device's Google settings.

US state privacy laws. Personalized ads may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state laws. You can opt out with the in-game privacy options (where shown), the device settings above, or by contacting us.

Remove Ads. After you buy Remove Ads, app open ads are no longer shown. Rewarded ads stay available because you choose to watch them.

7. In-app purchases

The game sells optional items: four diamond packs (100, 500, 1,000 and 10,000 diamonds) and Remove Ads. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play; we never receive your card or payment details.

Guests (anonymous players) cannot buy diamonds or use the shop. You must first create an account with your email address. Guests can still play the game.

We receive the store's transaction ID and the product bought. We send them to Apple or Google to check that the purchase is real, and we record it on your player. For a diamond pack, we then credit the diamonds to your account. For Remove Ads, we record it so ads stay removed.

If Apple or Google refunds a purchase, we are notified and the diamonds from that purchase are removed from your balance automatically.

Diamonds have no cash value. They are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another player or account. A Remove Ads purchase belongs to your store account: you can get it back on a new device with Restore.

8. How long we keep data, and deleting it

We keep your player profile, scores, progress, inventory, diamond wallet, profile picture and purchase records for as long as your player or account exists. Server logs are kept only for a short time, for security and troubleshooting. Google keeps advertising and analytics data under its own retention rules.

Delete your account in the game. Open Profile, tap Delete account, and enter your password. This permanently deletes:

  • your account and email address (Firebase Authentication);
  • your player name, scores and leaderboard entries;
  • your profile picture (avatar image);
  • your diamond balance and transaction history;
  • your inventory, level progress and player stats;
  • your push notification token;
  • the purchase records linked to your player.

The game then starts again as a new anonymous player. Deletion cannot be undone, and deleted diamonds are not refunded. Purchases stay with your App Store or Google Play account, and you can get Remove Ads back with Restore.

Without an account, or by email. Write to [email protected] from the address you want deleted, or include your player name. We will delete your data within 30 days. Uninstalling the game removes the data stored on your device.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your data (access and portability);
  • correct it, for example your player name, which you can also change in Profile;
  • delete it (section 8);
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • withdraw your consent for personalized ads at any time (section 6), without affecting earlier use.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

In California and other US states with privacy laws, you have the right to know, delete and correct your data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires, and may ask you to confirm you own the account.

10. Children

The game is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account or given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

All traffic between the game and our server uses HTTPS. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, and the server accepts requests only with a valid sign-in token. Your device identifier is stored only as a one-way hash. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

12. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries outside your own. Where the law requires, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the game or on our website before it applies.
